How to join
Choose your device, follow its setup steps, and select your server in Growtopia.
Connect on Android
- Download the Android hosts app. Open the APK and allow installation from your browser if Android asks.
- Import the Android profile using the URL below.
- Activate the profile, open Growtopia, and choose your server.
Connect with Surge 5
- Download Surge 5 from the App Store.
- Import the iOS profile using the URL below.
- Enable the profile and open Growtopia.
Choose a Windows setup method
- Manual setup: close Growtopia and run Notepad as administrator. Use File → Open and select All Files to open the hosts file below.
- Replace old Growtopia mappings with the two entries below, keeping unrelated lines. Save the file as hosts without adding .txt, then open Growtopia again.
- Automatic setup: download GTPS.bat instead of editing the file manually. Close Growtopia and run it as administrator. It backs up your hosts file and installs the same entries.
- To undo the automatic setup, run GTPS.bat remove. It removes the GTPS mappings and keeps unrelated hosts entries.
Connect on macOS
- Open Terminal and edit your hosts file with the command below.
- Paste both hosts entries. Save with Control + O, then exit with Control + X.
- Refresh DNS with the command below and open Growtopia.
Before you connect
GTPS.link lists independently operated community servers and is not affiliated with Ubisoft. Use a unique password for every private server. Keep unrelated hosts-file entries and remove an old connection profile before enabling another one.
